WII FM – A farmer’s point of view on the value of soil nitrogen
measurement

This talk discusses the economic context of available soil
nitrogen in cropping agriculture. Case studies in Australia and China
are presented, highlighting the scales of spatial and temporal
variability in soil nitrogen, and scoping the potential value of
improved monitoring.
